Frederick William Rose (English, 1849-1915) Illustration possibly depicting an event from the Indian Mutiny in which his kinsman Hugh Rose had many successes as commander of Anglo-Indian forces, circa 1890. A rare original work. sight: 12 by 14 inches frame: 18 by 19 ¾ inches Fred W. Rose is known for his Victorian serio-comic maps. We could find no other original works on record.
