About the Item

Of a fabulous size, dated and signed charcoal on paper depiction of a Bengal Tiger. Dated 1831, housed in a simple period ebonised and gilt slip frame. The signature I cant decipher, but the piece has been penned by an accomplished artist. Age related discolouration to the paper with some nibbles and tears to the extremities of the paper. frame is 72/57/4cm
