About the Item
This is a wonderful graphite on paper. Likely late 18th century possibly early 19th. The reclining mail with his backside to us is leaning on a large bolster. The Laurel wreath on his head adding to the neoclassical theme of this image. This is in good condition. The image site is 7x10. This would be a great little addition to any collection. Frame and matting are from the 1940s.
