Antique 17th-century Flemish panel. Painting oil on oak panel of excellent pictorial quality. This painting depicts Rebecca at the Well, a biblical subject with a pleasing luminosity, characterized by numerous details and great dynamism. Rebecca is depicted offering water to Eliezer, Abraham's messenger charged with finding the bride chosen by God for his son Isaac. A small artwork for antique dealers and collectors of old Flemish paintings and biblical subjects. The painting has undergone conservative restoration, with later paneling and retouching of the color in some areas. It has a beautiful patina and is adorned with a non-contemporary 19th-century carved and gilded frame. Overall, the artwork is in good condition. Internal dimensions: H 37.5 x W 38 cm.
