About the Item

1860s English lithograph print of actor Thomas Potter Cooke, as "William", in "Black-Eyed Susan" theatre play. His most conspicuous success was at the Surrey Theatre in London, on 8 June 1829, as William in Douglas Jerrold's Black-Eyed Susan. After playing it over 100 nights there, he was engaged to appear in the play at Covent Garden, where he remained until 1834. Medidas con marco: 28 x 23 x 2cm.
