ROCAILLE ANTIQUES This exquisite 18th century oil painting possibly depicts a portrait of Maria Anna Adelheid of Hohenlohe -Bartenstien (1701-1758) in the 18th century, framed beautifully in a gilded wood frame from an award wining framer MME Boulet Mefret. The painting is an original, and produced using the oil painting technique. On the reverse is another painting which is very RARE to find, in the 18th century sometimes it was know for the artist to reuse the canvas due to materials being expensive. To the rear the painting of a courting couple and a tower in ruins. The noble woman is the subject of the painting to the front and is captured in a multi-colour palette on canvas. The painting measures 70 cm in width, 83 cm in height and 6 cm in depth, making it of medium size and perfect for any art collection. This item is listed by a dealer or reseller, and would be a great addition to any art lover's collection. This isa RARE find and one to be treasured.
