These two extraordinary 18th century oil on canvas paintings are done in the style of the French painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard whose late Rococo manner is renowned. Depicting landscapes of Roman ruins with figures and dogs, they are beautifully framed and re-lined in old style contemporary gilt wood frames.
Sight line measures 24.50 inches x 20.25 inches. They vary by one half inch at sight line.
