A charming pair of English School, oil on board full length dog portraits by J Tonry Both portraits signed and dated 1923, housed in their original period glazed gilt frames. Each portrait has its original hand penned label and reads as follows 'Yumsie' Queen Alexandra’s favourite dog' 'Caesar, the late King Edward’s favourite dog, confirmed by Queen Alexandra as quite correct', dated 1923 both 32.5/27.5/2cm
