About the Item
Not a lot is known about Alex Sibirny, his life’s work was found after his death in Nj. He spelled his last name in a variety of ways including ‘Siburney’ and ‘Siburney’ and as seen here ‘ Sibirny’.
His work is well cataloged with the Farhat Art Museum, but little else is known.
The grid portion of this painting is glued paper. The composition measures 48.5” x 38” and retains his original frame and signed on back. Likely painted in the 1960s, but not dated.
