About the Item
The oil on canvas is signed, L. Jesberger, lower right, has an amazing noir feel to it. The moored tugboat and Silhouette figure in the foreground are juxtaposed with the highly illuminated background of the city with the full moon above. The rough East River waters glisten with mist rising off of it.
A large piece that measures 49" wide x 44" high. The framing treatment consists of a green painted weathered wood frame. The canvas is set back in the frame and is not flush mounted. Slight torquing of the stretcher.
Approximate overall dimensions with frame are 49.75" wide x 45.5" high x 3.5" deep.

Either the frame or wood painting stretcher has a slight warp; it doesn t lie completely flat when hung on a wall. Reframing is the best option.
