Antique Religious Oil Painting, Antique Religious Icon, Antique Gothic Revival Religious Painting, Antique Gothic Revival Cabinet, Religious Icon Painting, Madonna Child Religious Painting. 19th Century Italian School Religious Icon oil on metal plate (probably copper) painting of the Madonna Child. C. 1890 - 1899. Set in a very attractive carved gilded mahogany Gothic Revival cabinet frame, with scroll decorated doors. Very decorative display piece. Good overall condition. Some scuffs, scratches and paint loss to the Madonna’s hands. Possibly caused by the doors closing. Otherwise good colour and detail to the rest of the painting. The cabinet frame is in good condition, with only small loss to the top of the left side decorative tip. Frame: 93 × 73 cm with doors open. The painting: 38 × 28.5 cm.
