About the Item
A lush and harmouneous, vintage painting from the 1970s that feels surprisingly modern and timeless. This original oil painting on stretched canvas has been sourced in France. Even though difficult to interpret, it has been signed and dated by the artist in the lower right corner (see photo). The date seams to read 1977.
At a distant, this artwork can seem simple and efficient but looking closer one will notice an excellent work and attention to color choices and details. Making things appear simple when they really are not, is a true skill... A wonderful piece of decorative vintage art not to be missed.
The painting has been framed in a minimalist frame. Thin, natural wood lengths have been nailed directly onto the canvas frame itself creating a simple and clean look that is in harmony with the artwork.
In good vintage condition. The painting has not been cleaned, I leave that decision up to the new owner. There are no holes of other flaws in the canvas. The frame is also in good vintage condition. The painting shows minor signs of wear consistent with age and display.
