About the Item
An ethereal abstract painting, created in our NYC studio. This 16 x 16 inch canvas is a place for the eye to wander. Navy, slate gray, and persimmon orange create a calming yet vibrant piece.
This series of paintings is an extension of my exploration of textiles, influenced by the sky above New York City. The colors are fluid, yet static. The softness of the application creates a flowing, foggy, undulating series of color that leads the eye around the canvas.

ROUSSEAU
ROUSSEAU is a bespoke interiors brand based in New York City. Jacqueline Rousseau launched her interiors label after more than a decade designing womenswear in both London and New York City. Jacqueline's love of textiles and bold color shapes the line of hand dyed pillows and table linens. Each piece is custom produced in small batches, and vintage items are thoughtfully sourced to complement the line of soft furnishings. Inspiration comes from vintage paint charts, geometric shapes and cloud patterns.
