About the Item
Acrylic on canvas painting of two boxers in the ring with the spectators in the background. Done in a slightly figure abstract style with the look and feel of the 1950s. The canvas itself is floats in the frame which is black with a stripe of red along both the outside and inside edge. The main color palette is of a dark blue with accents of white for the lights and the crowd with the red of the boxers gloves. The painting conveys the movement of the boxers in the ring and the tight framing of the boxers face and the back of the other to the viewer.
