"Agriculture and Industry" Oil on canvas, attributed to Jose Denis Belgrano (1844-1917).
Renowned painter from Malaga.
He was commissioned to decorate the paintings for the ceiling and other rooms of the Liceo de Malaga. Other works like this one appear in the book JOSE DENIS BELGRANO by Maria Teresa Sauret Guerrero, published by the Museum of Sacred Art Malaga in 1979. Pages 217, 220. Plates CCXXIII, CCXXIV, CCXXV. These are located in the exhibition hall of the former Maria Cristina Conservatory in Malaga.
