Anthony Whishaw (English, b.1930) studied at the Chelsea School of Art (1948–52), graduated with honors from the Royal College of Art-London (1952–55) and was made a member of the prestigious Royal Academy of Art (1989). Ever the innovator, whether in imagery or medium, and associated with no particular art movement Whishaw prefers to approach each work of art with a fresh perspective.
