About the Item
Original early 20th century Danish coastal landscape oil on canvas painting. The colours are kept in cool shades of green, blue and grey. The painting depicts curved dunes covered with green sand rye grass. The eye is led towards the ocean in the distance.
The style of the painting is impressionistic and is painted by Danish artist Marius Bjørnestjerne Topkjær Olesen (1877 - 1939) in 1924. It is signed and dated in the bottom left corner and framed in a solid gold painted wooden frame.
