About the Item
Antique Framed Oil Painting on Canvas by Euphrasia Loutchinsky (1887-1974) is a particularly impressive work showcasing the artist's talents. She was born in St.Petersburg and graduated from the Smolny Institute. What we do know is she was incredibly gifted, indeed! This work fills the canvas with a vivid array of colorful blooms in a simple white ceramic vase. a bit of fabric adds even more texture to the work. The still life is an art form attempted by almost all artists, but mastered only by few, one of which is Loutchinsky. Survives in its original giltwood frame.
