Description:
This wide painting depicts the alpine settlement of Tirecorne, nestled in the quiet atmosphere of the Pennine Alps above the village of Courmayeur, in the Aosta Valley. In the foreground, a group of mountain chalets lies along the grassy slopes, connected by small paths that follow the natural contours of the terrain. In the distance rises the imposing massif of Mont Blanc together with the surrounding peaks. The larch trees, already showing their autumn colors, bring warmth to the scene and create a pleasant contrast with the gray stone of the mountains.
Restoration Information:
Light cleaning of the pictorial surface. Available with the original frame or, upon request, with a custom-made 2 cm or 8 cm antique fir frame, crafted in our restoration workshop.
