About the Item

Charming Art Deco Wire Haired Terrier Illustration from the 1930's. Wonderfully vibrant oil portrait of a wire haired terrier with immense personality. Possibly made as an illustration for an advertisement or editorial because the rendering is so well done as to fall out of the realm of the average home artist. Terrier head area 8" x 6", The area 5" around the head is in good shape and clear. Outside of that area, the paper is warped and discolored so a matte can be added or the painting can be reduced in size in a new frame. Vintage wood frame.
