Acrylic painting on hardwood by San Diego artist, Bob Matheny. The textured painting ranges in pastel colors of blue pink and green with a slight iridescence.
The San Diego conceptual artist and educator helped define the San Diego art scene in the 1960s and ’70s alongside other artist such as Richard Allen Morris and John Baldessari. Matheny used many different mediums throughout his career ranging from graphic design, sculpture, small press printing to painting, writing and photography.
