Operating in London from at least the 1830s, Dunnage produced maritime subjects such as the topsail schooner “Commodore” and the schooner “Parga.” These examples have been exhibited in auctions and achieved notable prices, thereby solidifying Dunnage’s reputation as a respected and accomplished maritime painter of his era.
