Master of impressionist painting, Ángel González focused from his youth on bullfighting painting. He captured these themes from a tragic point of view, the drama starring the bull, the absolute starting point, and not the bullfighter. His work captures the rhythm of the movements of man and animal, the different phases of the bullfight, energy, liveliness and color with great instantaneity and dynamism, reflecting bullfighting in all its splendor, without ever forgetting the expressive function of the bull and bullfighter. He exhibited in Spain, Mexico and Peru, and is currently represented in various museums in Spain, as well as in New York, Lima, Bogotá, Caracas, Paris, Lisbon, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo and Rome.

Cirilo Martínez Novillo was a painter from Madrid who began his training in the capital (School of Arts and Crafts, Libertarian Athenian of the People of Vallecas during the Civil War, School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving at the National Library), starting at the time of the contest his first artistic works in the world of literature.
