Raise of the school of Paris, Charlotte Henschel is of German Jewish origin. Roger Bissiere protects her during the war of 1939-1945, by confiding him "the romantic breeding of the sheep". By 1950 Alfred Manessier buys him a small Avenue workshop 36 of Châtillon (today Avenue Jean-Moulin).
