About the Item
Charles R. Selmi was born on 16 June 1933 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of Charles and Florence Selmi. He attended the Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia and studied with other artists. He painted marine scenes, landscapes and western scenes, working only in acrylics.
He had his own gallery in West Dennis, MA in 1973 and a gallery in Conway, NH in 1988. Mr. Selmi's work was featured on the cover of Down East magazine in July 1977. He exhibited his work in galleries on the east coast.
Mr. Selmi passed away in Scottsdale, Arizona in May 1994. Canvas 24” x 36”
