A framed oil on canvas by listed American artist C. Winterle Olson. Typical of her style; the scenes depicts a tree with long trailing branches, bereft of leaves, set against a fluid background in earth tones. Signed in the lower right corner. Set with a cream linen mat in an ornately carved wooden frame. Label in the back reads “C.W. Olson was born 1933 in Georgia. She was a self-taught painter until 1971 , when she returned to college to seriously study art. Her work deals primarily with the shapes, colors and feelings of trees and landscapes, interpreted in her own unique style.
C.W. Olson’s work is represented be galleries throughout the United States.”
