Superb painting by Daniel Van der Putten, an Irish Autumn View depicts the Townland of Garranes in County Kerry. This vintage evening view depicts cattle grazing within a gated field with the Kerry Mountains in the distance with passing clouds above. The Artist's majestic brush work captures with consummate finesse the magical colors of this rural winter scene and his shadow and light work is superb. Oil on board complete with its original exceptional giltwood and painted ornate frame. Signed lower left Daniel Van der Putten and titled at back as shown, “Passing Clouds Garranes Kerry” Van der Putten is Dutch born but resides and paints in England. Exhibited only in the finest Galleries, we are pleased to offer this exceptional Artist’s work on-line. Condition: Perfect showroom condition with no imperfections. Daniel Van der Putten was born in a small farming village near Leyden in Holland and is completely self-taught, he was truly inspired by the finest Dutch landscape painters of the Dutch Romantic period. Daniel has studied various techniques of painting primarily those of the Great Dutch Masters, giving attention to observing the natural landscape wherever he has travelled. Daniel was particularly inspired by the Irish and British landscape, and shortly after moving to the UK became a full-time painter. His desire was to faithfully depict the British countryside in differing seasons. He is interested in showing the vast array of color, light and shadow which appears in nature and his detailed technique reaches perfection in his treatment of skies and trees. He is an artist of International reputation. His work has been shown in London, Scotland, The Royal Institute of Oil Painters and one-man exhibitions throughout England, Canada, Taiwan and regularly in various states of the U.S.A.
