Stilleben by the Danish painter, Christian Daugaard, 1901-1993.
painted circa. 1960s.
He often painted with a naturalistic starting point. In landscape paintings from, among other places, Amager, where he settled, he captured the changing weather and seasons.
Christian Daugaard was a member of the Free Exhibition from 1937, he received the Eckersberg Medal in 1955. He is reprsented by the National Danish art museem SMK.
Oil on canvas.

The colors combine earth colors with light pastel tones. The painting's frame is a patinated pine frame.
