About the Item
This is an original Danish oil on plate still life painting of a feathery floral arrangement in green, purple and white colours, set in a blue bowl. A few (black) berries surrounds the white flower, some have fallen down on the table.
The palette soft and restrained and the brush strokes visible and expressive, suggesting a traditional style with impressionistic influences due to the emphasis on mood.
The painting is signed "O. Hedager" in the bottom right corner. It is framed in a solid bronze/golden painted wooden frame.
The painting is in good vintage condition with wear according to age. There is a crack in the paint and the frame has some wear in paint (please see the photos).
