Dated 1888 oil painting "The Old Mill" by W. Graham Buxton, English. An English village mill with race natural water cascade. Signed dated lower right: W. Graham Buxton 1888. William Graham Buxton, British, 1858-1926. Original, early gallery label fragment on stretcher: "The Old Mill Lynn Bridge . . . Lyndon Nth Devon. W. Graham Buxton . . .". Exhibited annually from 1885-1892 at the Royal Academy Royal Society of British Artists, Suffolk St, etc. Home studio in London. Original period frame with losses. Tear on canvas professionally restored. Condition commensurate with age and use. Canvas: 13 3/16" x 9 1/8".
