French oil-on-canvas portrait of boy. Dating from the Louis Philippe Era of 1830-45, this charming portrait is done in a naive manner that evokes American portraiture from the same period. I’ve matched the canvas with a rustic oak frame from about the same era. Because it was displayed in public, I gave it an acrylic cover, but the buyer would probably want to remove it for home display.
