Step into the sophistication of the Belle Epoque era with this exquisite portrait of a gentleman, skillfully crafted by W.N. Hendrikse.
This oil painting, signed and dated 1902, captures the elegance and style of the time. W.N. Hendrikse, or Willem Nicolaas Hendrikse, hailing from Zierikzee (1863) and later residing in Valkenburg (1941), was an artist known for his work in both Belgium and Zeeland, a province in the Netherlands. His primary focus was on portraiture, showcasing a mastery of capturing the nuances of his subjects.
