About the Item
This is a rare opportunity to own an original example of early Hunt art. this oil painting depicts a hunting dog along side the days harvest, Rabbit and quail in a primitive classic style. This painting has an early gilded wood frame with delicate carved lines. The canvas shows age and wear consistent with the time stretched on this frame. Its tight and has been re-stretched. There is no signature visible. It was acquired in France in the mid 1900s. Is in our showroom in New York Via Los Angeles but has a sticker of William A, Bradley Studio. Brynt 8173
