An exceptionally well painted antique oil on board painting by Belgian artist Felicien Rops whom lived and was active during the 19th century. The painting is a landscape scene depicting a small village nestled into the snowy landscape with a blue sky above dotted by clouds.
Signed lower right.
Presented in an ornately carved and gilt finished frame.

Condition: Please see detail photos. Some wear to the paint finish and to the carved and gilt finished frame commensurate with age and display but despite light wear the painting presents exceptionally well.
