"First Snow" original oil painting by Heinie Hartwig (1937-). Oil on board. 30” x 45”, framed 37" x 52". Painting portrays a teepee Native American camp scene set in snowy clearing with sun rising over the mountain range in the distance. Exceptional and warm colors and lighting. Great for display in a rustic cabin or Southwestern style home. Late 20th century.
Hartwig has won many awards, including the Triton Museum Competition. His paintings have sold at auction - Butterfields, Christie's and Phillips of London. He's professionally listed in art references, including Davenports, Leonard's and Who's Who in American Art.
