The painting is dominated by intense, saturated colors — primarily blue, green, and yellow, with contrasting accents of red and orange. The painting is executed in thick layers of paint, using the impasto technique, which creates a strong texture. Frideborg Bryth (1910 - 2007) was born in Huskvarna. She was married to the artist Lennart Lilja. They had the studio together and focused mainly on oil and acrylic painting. In 1978, they published the book Yttringar with Lennart's poems and Frideborg's illustrations. They both belonged to the Dalsland Artists Association.
