The title of this original illustration by the artist George Venson is "Jumping Ship: An Illustration of the Way I See Things Right Now". It is a work-on-paper that consists of collage and gouache. Venson is the founder of the decorative design studio Voutsa, which specializes in wallpaper, textiles, and interior projects. Venson created this particular work exclusively for Cafiero Select. It depicts several vintage and antique pieces from our collection. Venson sets the furniture in a surreal space, in which a Chinese folding screen unfurls into a blue ethereal space.
The work is presented in a new frame and can be seen in person in our East Village showroom.
