A beautiful, moody and wonderfully composed Mid-Century original watercolor painting by French artist Guy de Neyrac (1900-1950) featuring the famed Paris bridge/walkway Pont Alexandre III under darkening gray overcast skies and light rain. A very engaging if not somewhat dramatic scene exquisitely rendered.
The painting is signed by the artist in the lower right.
Guy de Neyrac was born in France in 1900 and is known for his impressionistic watercolor paintings and drawings often of Paris locations and scenes.
Would be a great addition to any French or impressionistic/Modern painting/art collection or make for an eye catching stand alone accent artwork in about any setting.
