Oil on board Signed lower right Framed A serene and intimate landscape by American artist Richard Peterson (b. 1947), rendered in oil on board. The composition captures an open field gently sloping toward the horizon, bordered by leafy trees and a rocky outcrop beneath a cloud-flecked blue sky. Birds in flight animate the tranquil scene, while the finely detailed brushwork evokes the quiet lyricism of 19th-century American realism. Oil on canvas board, unsigned. A charming small-scale landscape in the manner of the Hudson River School, depicting a tranquil river scene with figures in a sailboat drifting past a wooded shoreline.
