Grand imposing oil on canvas painting of a country French provincial farmer coup;e with various animals measuring 8 feet high and 6.5 feet wide by Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). The painting features a dramatic peach-orange background decorated with figures and animals having a whimsical light green tone. The border of the painting has a Yeager trademark speckled edge an homage to when he could not afford frames for his work. The painting is signed on bottom right "Yager 1791" his nom-de-plume signature and fictional date. Very impressive size and scale with vibrant color providing a strong commanding, anchor to the room or space.
