About the Item
This pair of manuscript pages are 18th century and are done it water colour and gauche. The images are of people in landscapes and the colors are still quite fresh and pleasing. The caligraphy is also very fine and in a free flowing hand. Obviously framed in the early part of this century , the frames are gilt and in good shape with linen matting
