About the Item

An extremely charming Italian 18th century Neo-Classical oil on canvas painting. The circular painting retains its original giltwood frame with a beautiful mottled designs and finely carved foliate border. The painting depicts two cherubs sitting under s tree sharing grapes from a challis. At their feet is more fruit and an animal eating grapes. All original gilt throughout.
