A stunning Italian 18th century oil on canvas painting in a giltwood frame. The painting depicts a calm bay at dusk with an anchored sailboat at the center and the beautiful Italian mountains in the background. At the forefront are charming rowboats and a man seated on a rock with his dog and a picnic basket with large rocks and finely detailed trees to the left. Two ladies are standing at the edge of the marina looking out over the water with a man seated taking a break with a turret in the background. Lovely vivid colors and exceptional attention to detail throughout. Framed in a mottled and beaded giltwood frame.
