Born in Tokyo in 1909, Kiyoshi Shimizu was a Japanese painter active during the early Showa period. Residing in Adachi Ward, Tokyo, he apprenticed under Yokoo Yoshitsuki, specializing in paintings of beautiful women and flora and fauna.
