Discover the serene beauty of Tadashi Mamiya's "Waterfall." Born in 1911 in Saitama Prefecture and mentored by Kuura Noda, Mamiya made notable contributions to Japanese painting.
Selected for various exhibitions, including the 2nd Prince Shotoku Praise Techniques Exhibition and the 11th Teiten Exhibition, Mamiya's career flourished. He co-founded the Painting Study Group in 1934 and engaged in research activities for young painters. His artistic journey reached its peak with consecutive selections in the 2nd Nitten to the 13th Nitten from 1946 to 1950. Tadashi Mamiya passed away in 1984.
This hand-painted silk artwork, housed in a combined box, reflects Mamiya's talent. While the paper shows minor stains, it's generally in good condition. The cover has small stains and wrinkles but is well-preserved.
