This charming oil painting on canvas of a flowering garden has been painted by
László Kézdi-Kovács and is fully signed and dated 1911.
Kézdi-Kovács (1864-1942) was a Hungarian painter, writer and art critic. He was a pupil of Antal Ligeti.
The painting is mounted in a beautiful hand carved giltwood frame in Art Nouveau taste by Munich master frame maker Manfred Bleninger.
Kézdi-Kovács first exhibited in 1886. He also wrote poems, novels and stage plays and worked as an art critic.
