About the Item

This is an antique pastel on paper paintng by English-Spanish artist L. R. Garrido. The motive is a portrait of a young boy sitting on a bench with his hat. The colours are dense, strong and modern for its time. Leandro Ramon Garrido (1896-1906) was an English-Spanish renowned artist known for his portraits of everyday life and customs. He was born and worked in France and is represented in various European museums. The artwork is in great condition with a bit of wear on the paper’s edges.
