About the Item
Large and atmospheric landscape painting by Danish artist Inge Alifrangis, executed around 1993 and depicting the coastal surroundings of Gilleleje. The composition is built up in confident, expressive brushstrokes and a rich Nordic palette, capturing both the serenity and drama of the shoreline with a distinctly contemporary sensibility.
