In Spanish, the word Bodeg'on designates a pictorial composition in which the subject matter is an arrangement of objects. This composition with birds and cherries and Delft bowls and hydrangeas. The painting is relined and has an elaborate giltwood and ebonized frame typical of 17th century Spanish paintings.
