An original oil painting on rice paper of three musicians by listed painter Joyce Roybal (born 1955). Roybal is well known for his whimsical cartoonish child genre paintings known as ‘Puffy People’. This example depicts three child musicians performing. The work is signed on the lower right.

About the artist:
Michael Kachan was born in the countryside of Armenia. There, he completed secondary school and was a noteworthy student specializing in art. In 1985, he graduated with honors from the Kiev Institute of Arts. Before immigrating to Israel in 1992, he created several monumental installations for various institutions.
A playful and festive atmosphere characterizes his works. His colors are vibrant and celebratory and his subjects are primarily centered on musicians, lovers, and dreamers. The work of Michael Kachan is held in numerous collections worldwide.
